Spring Mountain District red wines have deep color, bright varietal character, lots of soft tannins, and balanced acidity. The flavors are concentrated and lingering. The combination of rich fruit and finely textured tannins make them a delight to drink in their youth. The same fruit, tannins and higher acidity promise wines with longevity.

White wines from the region display the same concentrated fruit and bright acidity. Many white varietals age gracefully over a relatively long period compared to those grown in other areas.
